Keep Focused

Keep Focused

This post is a little different from my normal ones, but I thought I might need to keep you focused on your business. There will be no links and nothing to sell.

So why the post. Well each time you pick up the paper, switch on the TV or turn on the radio, all you hear is negative speak……….. This business has gone broke, this firm has had to lay of these staff members, no one is buying etc, etc. They are keeping your mind focused on how bad people are doing.

Well I have news for you. Turn off the radio and TV, do not buy a newspaper. (You will soon hear if proper news happens).

Your business is doing OK, you will survive. Make sure your profit margins are good and that you are not losing money. Set yourself tasks small simple ones each day, and complete these. For example if you do one tweak a day to your site, over a month thats 30 tweaks you have done.

Check your stats each day, and make a goal to improve them by X% a day.

But more important stay focused on your business and stay positive and stay away from those negative people.

When you sell a service on eBay, you get rid of having to have stock, money for stock, storage etc. Selling a service just involves your time in creating the listing, and when the auction or the listing finshes your time in performing the service or job. When you sell a service on eBay you also have very low overheads if any, which is very good for any business.

You will see that there are many categories and also sub-categories, if you have a service to sell on ebay, do a bit of brain-storming and very soon you will be putting money in the bank, but to make the money you will have to do some simple listings and write some good copy, that will bring customers running to your door. And as with any buisness you will need to convert those leads to paying customers.
An example of a service is a gardener - put up a simple advert with some pictures of the work you do and very soon you will be getting offers of work.
Another example of services you can sell on eBay are Accountants, Hair-dressers and the list goes on and on.
Or how about a wedding planner?
Now for those who have a business that is office based or you want to start a business where you do not want to have to go out then you too can sell your service on eBay - businesses such as Web Design, Copy Writing can all be sold on eBay.
